To analyze a reinforced concrete mat foundation under high level seismic loading causing uplift and separation of the mat from the underlying soil foundation.
ENOVA performed non-linear analysis of a reinforced concrete mat foundation subject to high seismic loads which would cause separation and uplift of the mat foundation from the supporting soil media. Analyses involved geometric non-linearity incorporating compression-only soil springs allowing for separation under uplift tensile loading.
