Seismic analysis and certification of next generation advanced power plants including SSI and response spectra generation


To perform various bounding seismic analysis of the power block subject to varying soil and ground motion in order to achieve a seismic solution that is good for placement in majority of sites around the world. This project was performed in support of the Design Certification of a next generation advanced power plant.


ENOVA personnel participated in all facets of this project from generation of various soil models to complete soil-structure interaction analysis of the power block including generation of in-structure floor response spectra to be used for seismic design of piping and equipment.
